The Polish carrier check is free, one carrier at a time, on its own page.

Free check in 7 countries: Great Britain, France, Ukraine, Estonia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Latvia.

Poland: a free company and bank account check by NIP, on its own page.

Is this a registered Polish VAT payer, and is the bank account on their invoice theirs? Free, with the date of the official list.

Type the NIP and the account number from the carrier's invoice. We check whether that account is on the official list for that NIP.

How it works

Type a licence or company number. See what the official register says, with its date.

Free checks in 7 countries. Alerts in 5.

The answer

What it shows

  • The carrier’s name and licence number.
  • The licence status, such as curtailed (fewer trucks allowed) or suspended (stopped for a time).
  • The authority’s date, if it gives one.
  • The date we checked.

What it does not show

  • Whether a carrier is right for a job.
  • Why a licence changed.
  • Whether a carrier is insured.
  • Whether the person contacting you works for the licensed business.

See which countries are live, and which are coming, on the Coverage page.

Watch

Watch emails you when a carrier on your list changes.

No more checking each carrier by hand. We do it for your whole list.

Watch 50, for up to 50 carriers, costs €67 a month, excluding VAT. For longer lists: Watch 150, up to 150 carriers, and Watch 500, up to 500.

What we do not do

We don’t rate or score carriers.

Check up to 50 carriers at once

One carrier per line: licence number, company number or name. Or upload a .csv or .txt file.

Free, no card. One list of up to 50 carriers per company.

Carriers from Great Britain, France, Ukraine, Estonia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Latvia. Mix countries in one list.

Check a Polish carrier by NIP

Poland has its own check: the company, its VAT status and the bank account on the invoice. Free, one carrier at a time.

A load lost to a stolen carrier identity costs EUR 100,000 to 200,000 on average. In a 2024 German case the insurer cut the payout by 30 percent because the carrier had not been checked with care.

Figures: German industry data 2024 to 2025 and a 2024 appeal court ruling in Düsseldorf.

Type the NIP and the account number from the carrier's invoice. We check whether that account is on the official list for that NIP.

Transport licence: when our access to the Polish licence register opens.

The Polish carrier check is free, one carrier at a time, on its own page.

5 checks on each carrier

  1. The company exists and is active.
  2. It is an active VAT payer.
  3. The bank account on your invoice is the carrier’s registered account.Check the account before you pay.
  4. Its EU VAT number is valid.
  5. It holds a transport licence.

What each line shows

Each line shows where it comes from and when we checked.

“Not found” means our search found nothing that day. It does not prove there is no licence.

Sole traders appear by NIP and status only. We keep no personal names.

A listed account is registered to that NIP. It doesn’t prove who sent the invoice.

If a carrier is not on the VAT list, the line says so, with the date.

In plain English

Watch comes in three plans, Watch 50, Watch 150 and Watch 500, for up to 50, 150 or 500 carriers. They cost €67, €167 and €517 a month, and Watch 50 is also €670 a year. You can move to a larger plan at any time. A move to a smaller plan starts on your next billing date. Every plan covers every register we read. You get an email when a record on your list changes on the register, and a dated statement of your whole list every week, whether or not anything changed. Every line names the authority it came from, the authority’s date where it gives one, and the date we read it. Payment is by card through Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record. Dodo takes the payment, handles the tax and issues your invoice or receipt. Cancel at any time from the link in your Dodo receipt email or by writing to us: cancelling stops the next renewal and the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Not useful in the first 30 days of your first paid month? Ask and we ask Dodo Payments to refund that first monthly payment in full. We do not ask why. No other payment and no part of a period is refunded, except under clause 8.5. You may use the alerts and statements in your own business, including showing them to insurers, clients and auditors. You may not scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute them, or use them to build a competing product. Checks on this site are free, one carrier at a time, the Polish carrier check included. Polish carrier reports on a list you send are no longer sold; clause 20 sets out the free sample. The rest of this document is the same thing, written so that it holds.

1. Definitions and interpretation

1.1In this Agreement the following terms have the following meanings:

Agreement
these Terms of Service together with the Order, as each may be varied in accordance with clause 16.
Alert
a notification sent by the Provider to the Customer that a change has been observed in the Source Material relating to an entry on the Watch List, as described in clause 2.
Customer
the business identified in the Order. The Service is offered to businesses only; a person placing an Order warrants that it does so in the course of a business and has authority to bind that business.
Day-One Report
the first Statement, described in clause 2.3.
Dodo Payments
the reseller and merchant of record through which the Subscription is sold, as described in clause 7.2.
Fee
the charge for the Subscription set out in clause 7.1.
Order
the Customer’s request for a Subscription, made at the checkout operated by Dodo Payments or by email, together with any Watch List supplied with it or after it. An Order is accepted when Dodo Payments confirms the first payment for it.
Provider
Glib Logosh, a private person, Sutormanska 5, Apt. 12, 85000 Bar, Montenegro. The Provider is not a company and has no registration number.
Record
an entry held by the Provider recording what the Source Material stated about a carrier on a given date, together with the date on which the Provider read it, and any subsequent entry recording a change or the absence of a change.
Service
the monitoring, notification and record-keeping service described in clause 2, including the free single lookup described in clause 2.5, and the website through which they are offered.
Source Material
operator-authorisation information concerning road transport operators that is published by a competent national authority and made publicly available by it, in whatever form and under whatever terms it is published from time to time.
Statement
the dated statement of the whole Watch List that the Provider sends by email each week, as described in clause 2.8.
Subscription
the Customer’s paid entitlement to the Service for the Term in respect of its Watch List, under the plan selected at checkout. The plans are set out in clause 7.1 and differ only in the number of Watch List entries they allow.
Term
the period of the Subscription, as determined under clause 8.
Watch List
the list of carrier identifiers supplied by the Customer to the Provider for monitoring under the Subscription, as amended by the Customer from time to time.

1.2Clause headings do not affect interpretation. Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa. “Including” and similar expressions are illustrative and do not limit the sense of the preceding words. A reference to a clause is to a clause of these Terms. A reference to a law or a directive is to it as amended, re-enacted or replaced from time to time, and to any national measure implementing it.

1.3If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Order, these Terms prevail, except that the Order determines the identity of the Customer, the billing period selected and the email address to which Alerts and Statements are sent.

1.4The plain-English summary at the head of this document is provided for convenience. It does not form part of the Agreement and does not affect the interpretation of any clause.

2. The Service

2.1Subject to payment of the Fee and to the Customer’s compliance with this Agreement, the Provider will during the Term:

  1. accept the Watch List from the Customer and any amendments to it;
  2. compare each entry on the Watch List against the Source Material as published from time to time;
  3. send an Alert to the Customer’s nominated email address when the Provider observes a change of a kind described in clause 2.2 in respect of an entry on the Watch List;
  4. create and retain Records in respect of each entry on the Watch List from the date on which that entry is added to it, each Record being retained as created and not altered thereafter (clause 5.5); and
  5. send the Customer a Statement each week, as described in clause 2.8.

2.2The kinds of change that give rise to an Alert are: that the authorisation of an entry is recorded in the Source Material as suspended, curtailed or withdrawn; that a suspension, curtailment or other restriction recorded against an entry is recorded as lifted while the entry remains listed; that the number of vehicles the entry is authorised to operate is recorded as reduced; that the entry ceases to appear in the Source Material; that an entry which had ceased to appear in the Source Material appears in it again; and such other changes to the published authorisation of an entry as the Provider elects to notify from time to time.

2.3On acceptance of an Order and receipt of the Watch List, the Provider will send the Customer a Day-One Report stating, for each entry on the Watch List, what the Source Material then stated about it, that the entry could not be matched, or that it belongs to a register the Provider keeps but does not yet report under clause 12.10. The Day-One Report is the first Statement.

2.4Alerts are sent by email to the address stated in the Order. A single Alert may report several changes and several entries. The Provider is not obliged to send an Alert on any day on which no change of a kind described in clause 2.2 has been observed.

2.5The Provider also offers a free single lookup, under which a visitor to the website may submit one carrier identifier and see on the page a statement of what the Source Material then states about it, that it could not be matched, or that the register it belongs to is not yet searchable. A copy by email is optional. No Subscription, account or continuing obligation arises from a free lookup. Clauses 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 13, 14 and 18 apply to the free lookup and to any result of it.

2.6The Provider may add to, vary or withdraw the jurisdictions and categories of Source Material against which it monitors Watch List entries, and may vary the manner in which Alerts and Statements are presented, at any time. Clause 3.4 applies to any such variation. Where a variation removes from monitoring a jurisdiction on which entries of the Customer’s Watch List depend, the Provider will notify the Customer by email and the Customer may cancel under clause 8.3.

2.7The Provider will use reasonable endeavours to make the Service available continuously, but may suspend it for maintenance, for reasons of security, or where the publication of Source Material on which it depends is interrupted, and will restore it as soon as reasonably practicable.

2.8Each week the Provider will send the Customer a Statement: a dated list of every entry on the Watch List and what the Source Material stated about each entry when the Provider last read it. A Statement is sent whether or not anything has changed. Each line of a Statement, and each line of an Alert, names the authority whose publication it is drawn from, the date that authority gives where it gives one, and the date on which the Provider read it.

3. What the Service is not

3.1The Service is an information service. It does not constitute, and must not be relied on as, legal, compliance, regulatory, credit, financial or insurance advice, or advice of any other kind. Where the Customer requires advice it should obtain it from a suitably qualified adviser.

3.2Nothing in the Service is a certification, accreditation, endorsement, rating or guarantee of any carrier’s fitness, solvency, insurance, competence, identity, conduct or performance, or of the existence or continuation of any authorisation. A Record, a Statement or an Alert states only what the Source Material stated on a given date, as read by the Provider on the date shown.

3.3The Service is not a substitute for the Customer’s own statutory, regulatory or contractual obligations, including any duty under applicable law to satisfy itself that a carrier holds a valid authorisation before or during an engagement. The Customer remains solely responsible for the discharge of those obligations, and for deciding what, if any, action to take on receipt of an Alert.

3.4The Provider makes no representation that any particular register, jurisdiction, category of authorisation or record is included in the Service at any given time. Statements on the Provider’s website about the countries it watches describe the Provider’s activity at the date of publication and are not a warranty as to any future date. Where a Watch List entry cannot be matched to any Source Material the Provider monitors, the Provider will say so in the Day-One Report and will not monitor that entry. The Provider does not represent that any Record exists in respect of an entry for any period before the date on which that entry was added to the Watch List.

3.5The Service does not detect, prevent or insure against deception, theft, impersonation or any other criminal or wrongful act. A valid authorisation is not evidence that a person presenting it is the holder of it.

3.6The absence of an entry from the Source Material, or its removal from it, is recorded by the Provider as such and as nothing more. The Provider does not state or imply any reason for a change in the Source Material, and no Record, Statement or Alert should be read as doing so.

4. Source Material and attribution

4.1The Service is derived from Source Material: publicly available operator-authorisation information published by competent national authorities. The Provider does not create Source Material, does not act for and is not endorsed by any authority that publishes it, and has no influence over what is published, when, or in what form. Each Alert line and each Statement line names the authority whose publication it is drawn from. The Provider does not publish the timetable on which it reads any publication, the technical route by which it reads it, or the methods by which it compares one reading with the next, and the Customer acknowledges that those form part of the Provider’s confidential information under clause 11. If the terms under which any Source Material is published change so that the Provider can no longer lawfully reproduce it, or the publication of that Source Material is suspended or ceases, the Provider may cease to monitor the affected entries, and will notify the Customer by email; clauses 2.6 and 8.5 then apply.

4.2The Provider reproduces Source Material subject to the terms under which it is published, and asserts no right in the underlying public information beyond those terms. The Provider’s rights under clause 9 in the compilation, structure, selection, arrangement and dated history of the Records are independent of, and do not limit, the terms under which the underlying Source Material is published, and nothing in this Agreement grants the Customer any right in Source Material beyond the rights that the terms of its publication confer on the public generally. Where those terms require attribution, the Provider gives it in the form set out in clause 4.3, and the attribution notices so required are available at all times at the address of this page followed by #/terms/4.3 and are set out in full at clause 4.3. The notices are reproduced in the form the applicable terms require. The Customer acknowledges that the underlying public information contained in a Record remains subject to the terms of its publication, that if the Customer itself republishes such information it is responsible for complying with those terms, including any attribution requirement, and that it may satisfy such a requirement by reproducing the relevant notice from clause 4.3 or by reference to clause 4.3 of these Terms.

4.3 Attribution notices
  • Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
  • Licence Ouverte / Open Licence 2.0 (Etalab).
  • Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
  • Ukraine: data of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety (Укртрансбезпека), from data.gov.ua, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution.
  • Estonia: data of Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet (TTJA), open data file of the Register of Economic Activities, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.
  • Great Britain licence notices (weekly Applications and Decisions publications of the Traffic Commissioners): contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We read the notices that name a licence on a customer's list, do not change the licence status we show, and do not store the names of people in these notices.
  • Great Britain company events (Companies House public register and its streaming service): Companies House states it imposes no rules on how the public register is used. We read company status and insolvency events only, for companies on a customer's list, and do not store the names of officers or other people.
  • Certain information is republished under the terms applicable to its publication by the relevant competent authority.

5. Accuracy and corrections

5.1Records reproduce Source Material as published. The Provider does not verify, correct, supplement or interpret Source Material, and a Record is accurate if it faithfully records what the Source Material stated on the date shown, whether or not the Source Material was itself accurate on that date.

5.2The timing and content of any publication in the Source Material are determined solely by the authority that publishes it. The date on which the Provider read a publication is recorded on each Record, Statement and Alert; the Provider gives no assurance as to the interval between publication and reading beyond what is shown by those two dates.

5.3The absence of an Alert is not a representation that no change has occurred in the authorisation or circumstances of any carrier. In particular, a change that has not been published in the Source Material, or that has been published in a form the Provider does not monitor, will not give rise to an Alert.

5.4The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the identifiers on its Watch List. The Provider matches entries to Source Material by identifier. An entry that cannot be matched, or that matches more than one item of Source Material, will be reported as such and will not be monitored until the Customer supplies an identifier that can be matched.

5.5The Provider does not alter a Record to reflect a correction to Source Material unless the correction is itself published in the Source Material, in which case the correction is recorded as a new Record and the earlier Record is retained.

5.6Clause 5.5 is about the authority’s errors. This clause is about the Provider’s own. If the Provider finds that an Alert or a Statement it has sent was wrong because the Provider read or processed the Source Material incorrectly, the Provider will send a correction by email to every Customer who received the wrong Alert or Statement. The correction states what was sent, what the Source Material in fact stated, and the date of the correction. The Provider will send it whether or not anyone has complained, and the earlier Alert or Statement is not withdrawn or rewritten.

5.7A Customer who believes an Alert or a Statement is wrong may write to shevy@haulierwatch.com. The Provider will check it against the Source Material and answer by email, and where clause 5.6 applies will act under that clause.

6. Customer obligations

6.1The Customer shall supply a Watch List that is accurate and that it is entitled to supply, and shall keep it up to date. The Customer may add and remove entries at any time during the Term, up to the number of entries its plan allows under clause 7.1. If the Watch List holds more entries than the plan allows, the Provider will tell the Customer by email and will not monitor the entries above that number until the Customer moves to a larger plan. No further Fee is charged for those entries.

6.2The Customer shall use the Service lawfully and in accordance with clause 10, and shall ensure that any of its employees, agents and contractors who have access to Alerts, Statements or Records do likewise.

6.3The Customer remains solely responsible for its own regulatory duties, including any duty under applicable law to verify that a carrier it engages holds a valid authorisation, and acknowledges that the Service is an aid to the discharge of those duties and not a discharge of them.

6.4The Customer shall keep the email address to which Alerts and Statements are sent in working order and shall notify the Provider of any change to it. An Alert is deemed received when it is sent to that address. The Provider is not responsible for an Alert or a Statement that is not read, is filtered, or is delayed by the Customer’s systems or those of its email provider.

6.5The Customer shall give accurate billing details at checkout, including its legal name, address and, where applicable, its VAT identification number, and shall notify a change of those details to Dodo Payments or to the Provider.

7. Price, payment and tax

7.1The Fee depends on the plan selected at checkout. Watch 50 allows up to 50 Watch List entries and costs €67 per month or €670 per year. Watch 150 allows up to 150 Watch List entries and costs €167 per month. Watch 500 allows up to 500 Watch List entries and costs €517 per month. Watch 150 and Watch 500 are sold monthly only. Every plan covers every register the Provider monitors and includes the same Alerts and Statements; the plans differ only in the number of entries. The yearly Fee for Watch 50 is ten times its monthly Fee for twelve months of Subscription. For more than 500 entries the Customer may write to shevy@haulierwatch.com; no Fee is published for more than 500 entries. Prices are shown exclusive of value added tax and any similar tax; the tax due is calculated and added at checkout.

7.2The Subscription is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as the Provider’s reseller and merchant of record. Dodo Payments takes the payment, handles value added tax and sales tax on it, issues the invoice or receipt, and handles cancellation links, refunds and chargebacks; the Provider does none of those things and takes no payment directly. These Terms govern how the Service is provided; Dodo Payments’ own terms govern the payment itself.

7.3The Fee is payable in advance for each billing period. The first payment is taken at checkout, or, for a monthly Subscription that starts with the Trial of clause 8.9, when the Trial ends. Each renewal payment is taken by Dodo Payments on or about the renewal date, from the payment method given at checkout.

7.4Payment is by the methods Dodo Payments offers at checkout. The Provider holds no payment card details and no bank details of the Customer.

7.5Value added tax and any similar tax on the Fee are calculated and charged by Dodo Payments at checkout. A business customer may enter its VAT identification number there. The Customer warrants that any VAT identification number it gives is its own and is valid.

7.6Any tax, duty or withholding that arises in the Customer’s own jurisdiction beyond what is charged at checkout is the Customer’s responsibility.

7.7If a renewal payment fails, Dodo Payments may retry it. If it is not paid, the Subscription ends at the end of the period already paid for, and the Provider will stop sending Alerts and Statements. The Provider does not charge in arrears, so no sum falls due to the Provider after a billing period has been paid for.

7.8The Provider may change the Fee by giving the Customer notice by email. A change takes effect on the first renewal of the Term after the notice, and the Customer may cancel under clause 8.3 before that renewal if it does not accept the change.

7.9The free lookup and the Day-One Report are provided without charge, and no charge arises from either of them.

7.10Offer code SIXSEVEN takes 67% off the first month of a Watch 50 monthly or Watch 150 monthly Subscription. It applies to no other plan or billing period. It is entered at checkout. It applies to the first monthly payment only and cannot be applied after a payment has been taken. It expires at 23:59:59 UTC on 31 December 2026. It changes the first payment and nothing else; every renewal after it is charged at the Fee in clause 7.1. Only one offer code applies to a Subscription.

7.11Offer code FOUNDER50 takes 50% off each of the first 12 monthly payments of a Watch 50, Watch 150 or Watch 500 monthly Subscription, making them €33.50, €83.50 and €258.50 per month respectively. It is entered at checkout. It cannot be applied to a yearly Subscription. It is limited to 20 customers, and Dodo Payments decides whether an order qualifies. It expires at 23:59:59 UTC on 31 December 2026. After the last of those 12 payments, every renewal is charged at the Fee in clause 7.1. Only one offer code applies to a Subscription.

7.12Only one offer code can be used at each checkout.

7.13The Customer may move to a larger plan at any time. The move takes effect at once, and the difference in Fee for the rest of the current billing period is charged at that time. A move to a smaller plan takes effect on the next renewal date.

8. Term, renewal, cancellation and refunds

8.1The Term begins on the date on which Dodo Payments confirms the first payment and continues for the billing period selected at checkout.

8.2At the end of each billing period the Term renews automatically for a further period of the same length, unless either party has cancelled under this clause 8 before the end of the current period.

8.3The Customer may cancel the Subscription at any time, either from the cancellation link in the receipt email sent by Dodo Payments or by sending an email to shevy@haulierwatch.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal. The Service continues to the end of the billing period that has been paid for. The Provider will acknowledge a cancellation sent to it by email; if no acknowledgement is received, the Customer should send it again.

8.4Save as set out in clauses 8.5 and 8.8, no refund, credit or pro-rata reduction of the Fee is made for the unexpired part of a billing period, whether on cancellation by the Customer, on termination by the Provider under clause 8.6, or otherwise.

8.5If the Provider withdraws the Service entirely, or ceases under clause 4.1 to monitor every entry on the Customer’s Watch List, the Provider will refund the part of the Fee paid that relates to the unexpired part of the current billing period. This is the Customer’s sole remedy for such withdrawal.

8.6The Provider may terminate the Agreement with immediate effect by email if the Customer commits a material breach of clause 10, or commits any other material breach and does not remedy it within a reasonable period after being asked in writing to do so, or becomes insolvent or ceases to carry on business. The Provider may otherwise decline to renew the Term by giving the Customer notice by email before the renewal date.

8.7On the end of the Term for any reason, the Provider will stop sending Alerts and Statements. The Customer may keep and go on using the Alerts and Statements it has already received, on the terms of the licence in clause 9.3. Clauses 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18 survive the end of the Term.

8.8If the Service is not useful to the Customer in the first 30 days of its first paid month, the Customer may ask, and the Provider will ask Dodo Payments to refund that first monthly payment in full and will not ask for a reason. The request may be made from the link in the receipt email sent by Dodo Payments or by email to shevy@haulierwatch.com. Refunds are processed by Dodo Payments to the payment method used, under Dodo Payments’ own terms; the Provider cannot process a refund itself. No other payment is refunded, save under clause 8.5. To stop the next payment, the Customer cancels under clause 8.3.

8.9Trial. A monthly Subscription starts with a free trial of 14 days (the “Trial”). A card is required to start. The card is not charged during the Trial. Dodo Payments takes the first payment when the 14 days end, at the Fee for the plan selected, or at the price in clause 7.10 or 7.11 where that clause applies, unless the Customer cancels before the Trial ends under clause 8.3; then nothing is charged. During the Trial the Service is the Service of the plan selected. The Term under clause 8.1 begins when the first payment is confirmed. The yearly Watch 50 Subscription has no Trial. One Trial per business. The Provider may decline or end a Trial where these Terms are not met; if it ends a Trial, it cancels the Subscription and nothing is charged.

9. Intellectual property and database rights

9.1The Provider owns, or is licensed to use, all intellectual property rights in the Service, the software and systems by which it is provided, the website, the form and presentation of Alerts, Statements and Records, and the name and marks under which the Service is offered.

9.2The Provider owns the compilation, structure, selection, arrangement and dated history of the Records, in which the Provider asserts the sui generis database right under Directive 96/9/EC and its national implementations, and any equivalent right under any other law, independently of any rights in the underlying public information. The Customer acknowledges that the Provider has made a substantial investment in obtaining, verifying and presenting the contents of that database.

9.3The Provider grants the Customer, for the Term, a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to receive and use Alerts and Statements relating to its Watch List for the Customer’s own internal business purposes, including producing one to an insurer, a client, an auditor, a regulator or a court in connection with the Customer’s own business, and including keeping copies of Alerts and Statements received during the Term after it ends for those purposes.

9.4Except as set out in clause 9.3, no right in the Service, the Statements or the Records is granted to the Customer, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9.5Nothing in this clause 9 asserts any right in the underlying public information contained in the Source Material, which remains subject to the terms of its publication as described in clause 4.

9.6If the Customer provides suggestions or feedback about the Service, the Provider may use them without restriction or payment.

10. Acceptable use

10.1The Customer shall not, and shall not permit or assist any third party to:

  1. access the Service or obtain Records, Statements or Alerts by any automated means, including crawling, scraping, scripted requests or systematic retrieval, other than the receipt of Alerts and Statements by email;
  2. download, copy or extract Records in bulk, or extract or re-utilise the whole or a substantial part of the contents of the Provider’s database, evaluated qualitatively or quantitatively;
  3. carry out repeated and systematic extraction or re-utilisation of insubstantial parts of the contents of the Provider’s database where this conflicts with the normal exploitation of that database or unreasonably prejudices the legitimate interests of the Provider, and in particular shall not make more than incidental extraction of any substantial part of the database, whether by repeated extraction of insubstantial parts or otherwise;
  4. sell, resell, license, sublicense, rent, lend, publish, distribute or otherwise make available Records, Statements or Alerts to any third party, other than as permitted by clause 9.3;
  5. use the Service, Records, Statements or Alerts to build, train, benchmark, validate or populate any product, service, dataset, model or database that competes with or substitutes for the Service, or to assist any third party to do so;
  6. reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to discover the sources, methods, software or systems by which the Service is provided;
  7. circumvent, disable or interfere with any rate limit, access control or security feature of the Service, or access the Service by any means other than those the Provider makes available;
  8. submit to the Watch List, or to the free lookup, identifiers that the Customer is not entitled to submit or that are submitted for a purpose other than the Customer’s own monitoring of carriers it engages or proposes to engage;
  9. remove, obscure or alter any attribution notice, proprietary notice or date appearing on a Record, a Statement or an Alert; or
  10. use the Service in any way that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of any person, or that is inconsistent with the terms under which Source Material is published.

10.2The Provider may monitor use of the Service for compliance with this clause 10 and may suspend or terminate the Service under clause 8.6 if it reasonably believes that this clause has been breached. The restrictions in clause 10.1 apply during the Term and continue after it in respect of any Records, Statements or Alerts obtained during it.

11. Confidentiality

11.1Each party shall keep confidential all information of a confidential nature that it obtains from the other in connection with this Agreement, shall use it only for the purposes of this Agreement, and shall not disclose it to any third party except to its employees, professional advisers and, in the Customer’s case, the persons described in clause 9.3, in each case to the extent necessary and subject to equivalent obligations of confidence.

11.2The Customer’s Watch List, and the fact that a particular carrier is on it, are confidential information of the Customer. The Provider’s technical sources, reading schedules, methods, systems and any non-public information about the Service are confidential information of the Provider. The name of the authority behind a given line is not confidential and is printed on that line.

11.3Clause 11.1 does not apply to information that is or becomes public other than through a breach of this Agreement, that the receiving party already lawfully held, that it obtains from a third party free of any obligation of confidence, or that it is required to disclose by law, by a court or by a regulator, provided that where lawful it gives the other party prompt notice of the requirement.

11.4The obligations in this clause 11 continue after the end of the Term for so long as the information concerned remains confidential.

12. Data protection

12.1The Provider processes the contact details of the Customer’s representatives, being name and business email address, in order to provide the Service, send Alerts and Statements, administer the Agreement and keep its own records. The Provider decides how and why that data is processed. The Provider’s Privacy Policy describes where the data is held, who it passes through and how long it is kept.

12.2Watch List identifiers are identifiers of businesses. Where an identifier relates to a sole trader, the Provider processes it only as a business identifier, for the purpose of monitoring that business’s authorisation on the Customer’s instruction.

12.3Personal fields that appear in Source Material, such as the names of transport managers, directors, partners and signing officials, correspondence addresses and personal identification numbers (save as clause 12.8 sets out for Polish and Ukrainian sole traders), are removed before storage and do not form part of the Records. A Record can hold the address a register publishes for the holder, such as the operating centre address for Great Britain, the postcode and town for France and the registered seat for Croatia. The Provider does not claim that what remains can never relate to a person: where the holder is a sole trader or a partnership, its trading name, licence number or that address can do so.

12.4The Provider does not publish, sell, rent or otherwise make available Customer data, including the Watch List, to any third party, other than to the suppliers it uses to send email, take payment and host the Service, and other than where required by law.

12.5Contact data is retained for the Term and for as long afterwards as the law requires the Provider to keep it, and is then deleted. An email address given for a copy of a free check is used to send that copy. A one-way hash of it is kept for 180 days so the address need not be confirmed again, then deleted. The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics service. The Provider counts lookups per day by register, language and the page or link that led to them, without storing the number checked or the visitor’s network address. Requests are counted per network address under a code made with a random key that changes every day; the address itself is not stored for counting. The server keeps request logs, which hold network addresses, to run and protect the Service, and deletes them within 14 days. An uptime service receives signals from the Provider’s own scheduled jobs and no visitor data.

12.6Individuals whose data the Provider processes may exercise the rights available to them under applicable data protection law, including access, rectification, erasure and objection, by writing to shevy@haulierwatch.com.

12.7Payment data is held by Dodo Payments and not by the Provider. Dodo Payments’ own privacy terms apply to it.

12.8The Provider removes the names of transport managers, directors and signing officials from the registers it reads. Save as set out below for Poland, Ukraine, Estonia, Hungary, Malta and Bulgaria, a sole trader’s or partnership’s trading name, as a register publishes it, can be a person’s own name and can form part of a Record; the Provider uses it only to match and report that entry. Polish sole traders appear by NIP and status only. A Ukrainian sole proprietor’s tax number is held only as a one-way keyed code. Estonian sole proprietors (FIE) are not held at all, so an FIE entry on a Watch List cannot be matched and clause 5.4 applies to it. Hungarian and Maltese sole traders appear by licence number only. Bulgarian sole traders appear by EIK and licence number only.

12.9One operator, based in Montenegro, works for the Provider under a written confidentiality agreement. The operator may read a Customer’s Watch List or the list it sends for a Report, only to prepare that Customer’s Statement or Report, and has no access to the Provider’s server. Clauses 11.1 and 12.4 do not prevent this.

12.10The Provider may keep dated copies of Source Material whose terms of publication it has not yet confirmed allow reuse. Until it has, nothing drawn from that Source Material is shown in a free lookup or sent in an Alert, a Statement or a Report.

13. Warranties and disclaimers

13.1Each party warrants that it has the authority to enter into this Agreement.

13.2The Provider warrants that it will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Subject to that warranty, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service, the Records, the Statements and the Alerts are provided “as is” and “as available”, and all other warranties, conditions and terms, whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise, including any warranty of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or non-infringement, are excluded.

13.3The Provider does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every change in the Source Material will be observed or notified, that any Source Material will continue to be published, or that the Service will meet the Customer’s requirements or satisfy any regulatory obligation of the Customer.

13.4The Customer acknowledges that it has not relied on any statement, representation or warranty not set out in this Agreement, and that the Provider’s website describes the Service in general terms which are qualified by these Terms.

14. Limitation of liability

14.1Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits either party’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for deceit or dishonest misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14.2Subject to clause 14.1, the Provider is not liable to the Customer, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for any loss arising from the Customer’s engagement of, or dealings with, any carrier, or from any claim made against the Customer by a third party in connection with a carrier, in each case whether or not foreseeable and whether or not the Provider was advised of the possibility of it.

14.3Subject to clauses 14.1 and 14.2, the Provider’s total aggregate liability to the Customer arising out of or in connection with this Agreement in any period of twelve months is limited to the Fee paid for the Subscription in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, whether that Fee was paid to the Provider or to Dodo Payments. Where no Fee has been paid, including in respect of the free lookup and the Day-One Report, the Provider’s liability is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14.4The Customer acknowledges that the Fee has been set on the basis of the exclusions and limitations in clauses 13 and 14, and that those exclusions and limitations are reasonable having regard to the nature of the Service as a reproduction of information published by others, and to the Customer’s ability to verify that information itself.

15. Indemnity

15.1The Customer shall indemnify the Provider against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses, including reasonable legal fees, suffered or incurred by the Provider arising out of or in connection with any claim made against the Provider by a third party, or any action taken by an authority that publishes Source Material, in each case arising from the Customer’s use of Records, Statements or Alerts in breach of clause 10 or otherwise in breach of the terms under which Source Material is published.

15.2The Provider will notify the Customer promptly of any such claim, will allow the Customer to conduct the defence and settlement of it at the Customer’s cost, and will give the Customer reasonable assistance in doing so, provided that the Customer does not settle any claim in a way that admits fault on the Provider’s part or imposes any obligation on the Provider without the Provider’s written consent.

16. Changes to these Terms

16.1The Provider may change these Terms by giving the Customer notice by email to the address stated in the Order, setting out the changed Terms or the address at which they can be read.

16.2Changed Terms take effect on the first renewal of the Term after the notice is sent. The Terms in force at the start of a billing period continue to apply for that period. If the Customer does not accept the changed Terms it may cancel under clause 8.3 before the renewal, and the changed Terms will not apply to it.

16.3A change that is required by law, or that only adds jurisdictions or categories of Source Material or otherwise increases what is provided for the same Fee, may take effect on the date stated in the notice.

17. General

17.1Force majeure. Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations, other than an obligation to pay, that results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including the interruption, suspension or cessation of publication of any Source Material by the authority that publishes it, failure of telecommunications or hosting services not operated by that party, industrial action, epidemic, governmental action, or act of God. The affected party shall notify the other and shall resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.

17.2Assignment. The Customer may not assign, transfer or subcontract any of its rights or obligations under this Agreement without the Provider’s prior written consent. The Provider may assign or transfer this Agreement to any successor to its business, or to a company controlled by the Provider, on notice to the Customer.

17.3Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be applied to the fullest extent permitted, or if it cannot be so applied shall be treated as deleted, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

17.4Entire agreement. This Agreement is the entire agreement between the parties in relation to its subject matter and supersedes all previous agreements, representations and understandings between them, whether written or oral, relating to it. Nothing in this clause limits liability for deceit or dishonest misrepresentation.

17.5Waiver. A failure or delay by either party in exercising any right or remedy under this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of it, and no single or partial exercise of any right or remedy precludes any further exercise of it or of any other right or remedy.

17.6Notices. Notices under this Agreement shall be given by email: to the Customer at the address stated in the Order, and to the Provider at shevy@haulierwatch.com. A notice is deemed received on the day it is sent, or, if sent on a day that is not a business day in the recipient’s place of business, on the next business day. The Provider’s full postal address is in clause 19.2.

17.7Third parties. No person other than the parties has any right to enforce any term of this Agreement.

17.8Relationship. Nothing in this Agreement creates a partnership, joint venture or agency between the parties, and neither party has authority to bind the other.

17.9Language. This Agreement is made in English. Any translation is for convenience only, and the English text prevails.

18. Governing law and jurisdiction

18.1This Agreement, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation, including non-contractual disputes or claims, is governed by the law of Montenegro.

18.2The courts of Montenegro have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, save that the Provider may bring proceedings to recover unpaid sums in the courts of the place where the Customer is established.

18.3Nothing in this clause 18 deprives the Customer of the protection of any mandatory provision of the law of the place where it is established that cannot be excluded by agreement.

19. Contact

19.1Questions about these Terms, cancellations under clause 8.3, refund requests under clause 8.8, corrections under clause 5.7, requests under clause 12.6 and notices under clause 17.6 should be sent to shevy@haulierwatch.com. A person reads that address and answers it.

19.2The Provider is Glib Logosh, a private person. There is no company and no registration number. Address and email: Glib Logosh, Sutormanska 5, Apt. 12, 85000 Bar, Montenegro. shevy@haulierwatch.com.

20. Polish carrier check

20.1The Polish carrier check (a “Report”) is a one-off service, separate from Watch. No Subscription arises from it, and nothing renews. In this clause 20, the Customer is the business that asks for a Report or a free sample.

20.2For each carrier on the list the Customer sends, a Report states, where a register shows it: (a) the company status in KRS or CEIDG; (b) whether the carrier is an active VAT payer on the Polish Ministry of Finance list (wykaz podatników VAT); (c) whether a bank account the Customer gives is on that list for that NIP; (d) whether the EU VAT number is valid in VIES; and (e) the transport licence entry in the GITD register, read by a person on GITD’s public KREPTD search. Each line names its source and the date it was read. A Report is prepared by a person from public registers.

20.3The Provider sends the Report by email within two working days of receiving the list and, for a paid Report, the payment. Working days are Monday to Friday, other than public holidays in Montenegro.

20.4The Provider no longer sells Reports and prepares a Report only as the free sample under clause 20.5. Single checks on this site are free of charge and cover one carrier at a time. A check of a list of carriers is free only while the Provider offers it under clause 20.10; otherwise checking a list is part of Carrier Watch. Carrier Watch is a paid subscription under the plans shown on the pricing page.

20.5Once per company, the Provider prepares a free sample Report on up to 3 carriers. A company that has had a free sample, under any email address, has no further free sample.

20.6Ask within 30 days of a payment for a Report and the Provider will ask Dodo Payments to refund that payment in full, and will not ask for a reason. The Customer may ask from the link in the receipt email sent by Dodo Payments or by email to shevy@haulierwatch.com. Dodo Payments processes the refund to the payment method used, under its own terms; the Provider cannot process a refund itself. After 30 days no part of the payment is refunded.

20.7A line that reads “not found” means that the Provider’s search of that register on that date returned no entry. It does not state that no licence, registration or company exists.

20.8A Report quotes registers as read on the dates shown. It is not a judgement about any carrier and not advice on whether to engage one. A listed bank account is registered for that NIP; the Report does not state who sent an invoice. Clauses 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17 and 18 apply to a Report and to a free sample as they apply to the Service, reading “Statement” as including a Report. The licence in clause 9.3 to use a Report has no end date. For a Report, the Fee in clause 14.3 is the price paid for that Report.

20.9The Provider does not keep names of natural persons from Polish registers. Sole traders appear by NIP and status only. The Provider does not copy a bank account number the Customer gives into a Report or into its records. The list the Customer sends is used only to prepare that Customer’s Report, and clause 12.9 applies to it.

20.10The Provider may offer a free check of a list of carriers for a limited time. It is not a Report and not a free sample. The Provider may limit how many lists are checked in a day from one connection, and may end the free list check, or make list checks part of Carrier Watch, at any time; single checks stay free. While it is offered, the list check is provided without charge, and clauses 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 13, 14 and 18 apply to it as they apply to the free lookup.

Welcome

You are in. Send your list.

Paste the licence numbers you want watched, one per line. You can add more up to your plan’s limit, or move to a larger plan.

Your first statement follows once we have your list. After that you get one every week, and an email when a record changes.

Or reply to your receipt email with the list. That works just as well.

In plain English

We hold your company name, your email address, your list of licence numbers and the emails we have sent you. The server is in Finland. Only the founder reaches it, from Montenegro. One operator, also in Montenegro, works for him under a written confidentiality agreement and may read your list, only to prepare your report or weekly statement. We take no card details. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics service. We count page loads and presses of the Watch and trial buttons per day, by page and language, and lookups per day by register, language and the page or link that led to them. These counts use no cookies and store no network address and no identifier of you or of the number you checked. From the registers we read, we keep no names of people. Some registers we keep but do not show yet. Section 7 says which.

1. Who holds the data

1.1Glib Logosh, a private person, Sutormanska 5, Apt. 12, 85000 Bar, Montenegro. There is no company and no registration number. He decides how and why the data described here is processed. Write to shevy@haulierwatch.com about anything on this page.

2. What we hold about a customer

2.1Company name, the contact email address you give us, your list of licence numbers, and the alerts and weekly statements we have sent you. Your list is commercially confidential and we treat it that way: we do not publish it, sell it, or tell anyone which carriers you watch.

2.2We keep this for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep it. Then we delete it. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will tell you what we can delete and what we keep.

2.3For a Polish carrier check we hold the list you send, the report we send back and the emails between us, as 2.2 says. If you give a bank account to check, we record only whether it is on the Ministry of Finance list for that NIP. We do not copy the account number into the report or into our records. It stays only in the email you sent.

2.4On a Watch list, a Polish carrier is given by NIP, with any bank account you want checked each week. Those numbers are part of your list under 2.1 and 2.2. A weekly statement says only whether the account is on the Ministry of Finance list.

3. The free lookup

3.1The free lookup needs no email address. If you give one so that we can send you the answer, we send that one message. After you click the link in it, we keep a hashed note that this address is verified, for 180 days, so you do not have to click again.

3.2A list pasted or uploaded into the free list check is read to produce the results and is not kept by us. If you press the Watch button under a list result, the numbers of the carriers found are kept in your own browser so that they can fill in your Watch list after checkout. Our pages use them for 24 hours and remove them the next time the site is opened after that. They are sent to us only when you save that list.

4. Email

4.1Our mail provider, Brevo, may record whether an email we send was opened. It does this with open-tracking images, which report to Brevo when a mail client opens a message. We have not turned that off. The footer line about cookies and analytics is about this website, not about email.

5. Where the data is, and who reaches it

5.1Our server is at Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland. Customer contact data and watch lists are stored there. One person, the provider, reaches that server from Montenegro, which is outside the EEA and has no European Commission adequacy decision. So the contact data of a customer in the EU or Great Britain sits in Finland and is read from Montenegro. Our mail provider and our payment provider run their own systems, which we do not control.

5.2One operator, based in Montenegro, works for the Provider under a written confidentiality agreement. The operator may read a customer’s list, only to prepare that customer’s Polish carrier check or weekly statement. Lists are used for nothing else. The operator has no access to our server. Montenegro is outside the EEA, as 5.1 says.

6. Payment data

6.1Dodo Payments is our reseller and merchant of record. Payment takes place on their checkout, under their privacy terms. We never see or hold your card details. We see that a payment succeeded, failed, renewed or was refunded, and the name and email on the order.

7. Register data

7.1We read public registers of road transport operator licences. Personal fields such as the names of transport managers, directors and signing officials, and correspondence addresses, are removed as the data comes in and are never stored. The address a register publishes for a business, such as an operating centre or a postcode and town, can be kept. We do not claim that what remains is free of personal data: a sole trader’s licence number or trading name can still relate to a person. We do not rate, score or judge any carrier. We report what a register showed and the day we read it.

7.2Sole traders, by country. Poland: we keep no names of natural persons; sole traders appear by NIP and status only. Ukraine: we keep no name of a sole proprietor (ФОП); their tax number is replaced, as the file comes in, by a one-way code made with a secret key, so that a check or a watch by that number can still match. Estonia: sole proprietors (FIE) are left out when we read the file, and no personal code is kept. Hungary and Malta: we keep the licence number, a company’s name, the status and the file date; a sole trader’s name is not kept.

7.3Not used.

7.4We keep dated register copies so that we can show what a register said on a past date.

8. This website

8.1The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics service. We count page loads and presses of the Watch and trial buttons per day, by page and language, and lookups per day by register, language and the page or link that led to them. We count how many lists are checked, how many people press Watch under a list result and how many return from checkout, as daily totals with no address and no list content. These counts use no cookies and store no network address and no identifier of you or of the number you checked. It stores two things in your browser’s local storage: your theme choice and your language choice. They stay in your browser and are never sent to us. To keep the free lookup working for everyone, our server counts requests by address and refuses more than a set number a day. It does not store the address for this. It stores a code made from the address with a random key that changes every day. The next counted lookup removes the code once it has gone 24 hours without use, and the key is deleted within 25 hours, after which no code can be linked to an address. The server also keeps ordinary technical logs of requests, which hold network addresses, and deletes them within 14 days. We do not use either to profile a visitor.

9. Your rights

9.1Where data protection law gives you rights over your data, including access, correction, deletion and objection, write to shevy@haulierwatch.com. This includes a carrier, or a sole trader, who is listed in a register we read. A person reads that address. If we cannot do what you ask, we will say so and say why.

9.2If we change this policy we will publish the new version here and change the date at the top. Customers are told by email under clause 16 of the Terms of Service.

9.3Why we may hold it. A customer’s data of section 2, the order data of section 6 and the emails of section 4 sent to a customer serve the contract: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Keeping it afterwards for as long as the law requires (2.2) is a legal obligation: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. The free lookup and its email (3.1), counting requests and the request logs (section 8) serve our legitimate interest in running the site, keeping the free lookup open to everyone and protecting it from abuse: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you may object under 9.1.

9.4You may complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work, or where you think the rules were broken: in France the CNIL, in Poland the UODO, in Croatia the AZOP, in Great Britain the ICO, in Montenegro the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Refunds and cancellation.

Effective 28 October 2026 · Glib Logosh, Bar, Montenegro · shevy@haulierwatch.com

1. Cancelling

1.1You can cancel at any time. Use the link in the receipt email from Dodo Payments, or write to shevy@haulierwatch.com and we will do it for you.

1.2Cancelling stops the next renewal. The service runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

2. Refunds

2.1Not useful in your first 30 days? Ask and we refund your first monthly payment in full.

2.3If we withdraw the service, or stop watching every register your list depends on, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for. That is clause 8.5 of the Terms of Service.

2.4The Polish carrier check is free. If you paid for a Polish carrier report, ask within 30 days of that payment and we ask Dodo Payments to refund it in full. That is clause 20.6 of the Terms of Service.

3. How a refund is paid

3.1Dodo Payments is our reseller and merchant of record. They take the payment and they process the refund, back to the payment method you used. Their own buyer terms apply to that processing. We cannot move the money ourselves, so we ask Dodo Payments to make the refund.

3.2Write to shevy@haulierwatch.com, or use the link in your receipt email. A person answers.
